1. Payment of Fees and Cancellation Policy
- Sessions are approximately 60 minutes in duration.
- The agreed fee per session is €60, payable in cash, by Payconiq, or by bank transfer.
- A minimum of 5 days’ notice is required for cancellation.
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling. Sessions cancelled or changed with less notice will be charged in full.
2. Confidentiality
All information shared during sessions is treated as strictly confidential. However, legal and ethical limitations apply, including cases where there is:
- Risk of serious self-harm
- Risk of harm to others
- Concerns regarding the welfare of a child
In such cases, the therapist is legally and ethically obliged to take appropriate action. If this arises, the reasons will be explained and discussed with the client wherever possible.
3. Client Responsibility and Participation
Therapy is a collaborative process. While every effort is made to support the client, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Progress depends on the client’s motivation and active participation.
4. Disclaimer
Therapy sessions are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment. The therapist does not diagnose medical or psychiatric conditions, prescribe medication, or guarantee specific results. Clients are encouraged to seek medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional for any health concerns.
5. Emergency Situations
The therapist does not provide emergency crisis support. If you feel at risk of harming yourself or others, please call your local emergency services immediately.
6. Data Protection
Client records are stored securely and in compliance with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR where applicable). Records are not shared with third parties without client consent, except where required by law.
7. Termination of Therapy
Either the client or the therapist may terminate therapy at any time. The therapist may also recommend referral to another professional if therapy is deemed unsuitable.
8. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with Belgian law.
